hello the problem is jquery conflict between your template and the vert scroller extension ...You can see it by changing template. With protostar module works. I will try to fix it
I ve fixed it I deleted that line
$this->addFile('js', 'js:jquery-1.9.0.min.js');
loading jquery on your template.config.php and it worked. I do not think that will cause any error on template side because jquery is being loaded by module but if you face any problem contact me.
