I am an absolute newbie - can I change the colour of the red and black?
This free template looks to be exactly what I need but I don't know enough to tweak the look and feel.

Newbie - can I change the colour of the red and black?
That may be a bit difficult for a newbie but you can try.
Download and unzip Aqidah_ku template then find aqidah_ku\assets\css\custom.css
open it using a text editor like Notepad++
Click Ctrl+F (Find command) select find and replace.
Type #cc0000 to find and type your new color code to replace area ( That is color code of red. )
Replace all colors with yours
do the same thing for other color #060c17.
